Diagnosis Procedure

1.PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF COMBINATION METER

With M.U.T.-III SE

Perform self-diagnosis for “METER/M&A”.

Is any DTC detected?

Check the DTC. Refer to DTC Index

(Full TFT meter), DTC Index

(7 inch information display).

2.CHECK TERMINALS AND HARNESS CONNECTORS

Check AWD control unit pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

Is inspection result normal?

After turning the ignition switch OFF, perform DTC confirmation procedure again. If DTC “U214E-87” is detected, replace actuator assembly due to the malfunction of the AWD control unit. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly

Repair or replace error-detected parts.
