Diagnosis Procedure
1.PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Erase self-diagnostic results for “ALL MODE AWD/4WD”.
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  3. Turn the ignition switch ON, and wait for 15 seconds or more.
  4. Perform self-diagnosis for “ALL MODE AWD/4WD”.
Which DTC is detected?
: Perform the trouble diagnosis for detected other DTC. Refer to DTC Index.

2.CHECK TERMINALS AND HARNESS CONNECTORS
Check AWD control unit pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
Is inspection result normal?
After turning the ignition switch OFF, perform DTC confirmation procedure again. If DTC “C1201-46” is detected, replace actuator assembly due to the malfunction of the AWD control unit. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
