Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK SONAR CONTROL UNIT CONNECTOR AND EACH REAR SONAR SENSOR CONNECTOR
Check the terminals and connectors of each rear sonar sensor and sonar control unit for damage, bends, and looseness.
Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace applicable malfunctioning parts.
 
2.CHECK OPEN CIRCUIT BETWEEN SONAR CONTROL UNIT AND SENSOR
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect sonar control unit connector and each rear sonar sensor connector.
  3. Check continuity between sonar control unit harness connector and each rear sonar sensor harness connector.

3.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Perform intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
Replace the sonar control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Repair or replace the applicable malfunctioning parts.
