Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK FRONT SONAR SENSOR SIGNAL LH OUTER CIRCUIT (1)
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect sonar control unit connector and front sonar sensor LH outer connector.
  3. Turn ignition switch ON.
  4. Check voltage between sonar control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
Repair harness or connector.
 
2.CHECK FRONT SONAR SENSOR SIGNAL LH OUTER CIRCUIT (2)
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Check continuity between front sonar sensor LH outer harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair the harness or connector.
 
3.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Turn ignition switch ON.
  2. Erase DTC.
  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.
Is DTC B2729-88 detected again?
Replace the front sonar sensor LH outer. Refer to Removal and Installation.
