Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 1
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Check signal between Keyless operation key unit harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.

Replace Keyless operation key unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

2.CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA CIRCUIT
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect Keyless operation key unit connector and outside key antenna (rear door RH) connector.
  3. Check continuity between Keyless operation key unit harness connector and outside key antenna (rear door RH) connector.

  4. Check continuity between Keyless operation key unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace harness.
 
3.CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 2
  1. Replace outside key antenna (rear door RH). (New antenna or other antenna)
  2. Connect Keyless operation key unit connector and outside key antenna (rear door RH) connector.
  3. Ignition switch ON.
  4. Check signal between Keyless operation key unit harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.

Replace outside key antenna (rear door RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.
