Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (REAR) POWER SUPPLY
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Check voltage between air mix door motor (rear) harness connector and A/C amp. harness connector.

2.CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (REAR) GROUND CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect air mix door motor (rear) connector and A/C amp. connector.
  3. Check continuity between air mix door motor (rear) harness connector and A/C amp. harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair harness or connector.
 
3.CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (REAR) LIN SIGNAL CIRCUIT
  1. Connect air mix door motor (rear) connector and A/C amp. connector.
  2. Ignition switch ON.
  3. Confirm output waveform between air mix door motor (rear) harness connector and A/C amp. harness connector with oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace air mix door motor (rear). Refer to Removal and Installation.

4.CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (REAR) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect air mix door motor (rear) connector and A/C amp. connector.
  3. Check continuity between air mix door motor (rear) harness connector and A/C amp. harness connector.

Repair harness or connector.
 
5.CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (REAR) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
  1. Disconnect following connectors.
    • Air mix door motor LH
    • Air mix door motor RH
    • Intake door motor
    • Mode door motor
  2. Check continuity between air mix door motor (rear) harness connector and ground.
    Air mix door motor (rear)—Continuity

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace A/C amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Repair harness or connector.
 
6.CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (REAR) LIN SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect air mix door motor (rear) connector and A/C amp. connector.
  3. Check continuity between air mix door motor (rear) harness connector and A/C amp. harness connector.

Repair harness or connector.
 
7.CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (REAR) LIN SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
  1. Disconnect following connectors.
    • Air mix door motor LH
    • Air mix door motor RH
    • Intake door motor
    • Mode door motor
  2. Check continuity between air mix door motor (rear) harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace A/C amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Repair harness or connector.
