DTC Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ELECTRIC SHIFT CONTROL MODULE AND MOTOR COIL A
  1. The ignition switch is OFF.
  2. Disconnect the electric shift control module connector.
  3. Disconnect the shift actuator connector.
  4. The ignition switch is ON.
  5. Check the voltage electric shift control module harness connector terminals and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace damaged parts.
 
2.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ELECTRIC SHIFT CONTROL MODULE AND MOTOR COIL B
  1. Check the voltage electric shift control module harness connector terminals and ground.

Repair or replace damaged parts.
 
3.CHECK MOTOR COIL A AND B
Check the motor coil A and B. Refer to Component Inspection (Motor Coil).
Is the inspection result normal?
Replace the electric shift control module. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Replace the transaxle assembly due to malfunction in the motor coil A or B (shift actuator). Refer to Remove and InstallationRemoval and Installation.
