DTC DETECTION LOGIC

P18AC	00	MOTOR RELAY (Motor Relay)	Diagnosis condition	When the ignition switch is turned from ON to OFF
			Signal	—
			Threshold	In spite of the shift actuator relay OFF, voltage is detected from the U phase, V phase and W phase of motor coil A or motor coil B.
			Diagnosis delay time	—

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Harness or connectors
- Shift actuator relay circuit is shorted to ground.
- Motor coil A or motor coil B circuit is shorted to power.
Shift actuator relay (ON stuck)

FAIL-SAFE

No impact to vehicle behavior

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.PRECONDITIONING

If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

The ignition switch is ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
Check DTC.
