DTC Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ELECTRIC SHIFT CONTROL MODULE AND SHIFT ACTUATOR RELAY
  1. The ignition switch is OFF.
  2. Disconnect the electric shift control module connector.
  3. Disconnect the shift actuator relay connector.
  4. Check the continuity between electric shift control module vehicle side harness connector terminal and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace damaged parts.
 
2.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN SHIFT ACTUATOR RELAY AND MOTOR COIL A
  1. Disconnect the shift actuator connector.
  2. Check the voltage between shift actuator vehicle side harness connector terminals and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace damaged parts.
 
3.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN SHIFT ACTUATOR RELAY AND MOTOR COIL B
Check the voltage between shift actuator vehicle side harness connector terminals and ground.

Repair or replace damaged parts.
 
4.CHECK SHIFT ACTUATOR RELAY A AND B
Check the shift actuator relay A and B. Refer to Component Inspection (Shift Actuator Relay A) and Component Inspection (Shift Actuator Relay B).
Is the inspection result normal?
Replace the electric shift control module. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Replace the shift actuator relay.
