P085200PARK/NEUTRAL SWITCH
(Park/Neutral Switch Input Circuit High)
Diagnosis conditionIgnition switch: ON
SignalP position switch signal
ThresholdThe input voltage is more than 4.5 V in one of P position switches No.1 and No.2.
Diagnosis delay time2.4 seconds
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Electric shift selector (P position switch)
  • Electric shift control module
  • Harness or connectors (P position switch circuit is shorted to power.)
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Pushing the P position switch does not switch to the P position
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. The ignition switch is ON and wait for at least 5 seconds.
  2. Press the P position switch and hold for at least 5 seconds.
  3. Check DTC.
