Diagnosis conditionWhen the ignition switch is ON
Signal—
ThresholdWhen TCM detects DTC* related to the CVT system warning, TCM displays DTC P187E-00.
Diagnosis delay time—
note*: For DTCs that the CVT system warning displays, refer to DTC Index.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Narrow DTC* down from related to the CVT system warning.
*: For DTCs that the CVT system warning displays, refer to DTC Index.
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
No impact to vehicle behavior
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
When TCM detects DTC related to the CVT system warning, DTC P187E–00 is set up. When DTC P187E–00 is detected, check the other DTC detected at the same time. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
