Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect battery cable from negative terminal. Refer to
Precautions for Removing Battery Terminal
.
2.
Remove air cleaner assembly. Refer to
Removal and Installation
.
3.
Remove “B” terminal nut and “B” terminal harness.
4.
Remove “S” terminal harness (with “S” terminal nut).
5.
Remove starter motor mounting bolts, and then remove starter motor from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.
caution
Install “B” terminal harness
and “S” terminal harness
to starter motor in following installation angle.
: Vehicle front
Be careful to tighten “B” terminal nut to the specified torque. Refer to
Exploded View
