(Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit High)
Diagnosis conditionEngine running from idle to 4000 rpm
SignalEngine oil pressure control solenoid valve signal
ThresholdSignal voltage from the fuel rail pressure sensor remains at more than 3.1 V
Diagnosis delay time5 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Harness or connectors (Engine oil pressure control solenoid valve circuit is shorted.)
  • Engine oil pressure control solenoid valve
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Not applicable
 
 
1.PRECONDITIONING
If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
  2. Turn ignition switch ON.
  3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Start engine and let it idle for at least 5 seconds.
  2. Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
