Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK ENGINE OIL PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE POWER SUPPLY
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect engine oil pressure control solenoid valve harness connector.
  3. Turn ignition switch ON.
  4. Check the voltage between engine oil pressure control solenoid valve harness connector and ground.
    +−Voltage
    Engine oil pressure control solenoid valve

Is the inspection result normal?

Perform the trouble diagnosis for power supply circuit.
 
2.CHECK ENGINE OIL PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE INPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect ECM harness connector.
  3. Check the continuity between engine oil pressure control solenoid valve harness connector and ECM harness connector.

  4. Also check harness for short to power.
Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace error-detected parts.
 
3.CHECK ENGINE OIL PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE
Check the engine oil pressure control solenoid valve. Refer to Component InspectionComponent Inspection (Engine Oil Pressure Control Solenoid Valve).
Is the inspection result normal?
Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
Replace engine oil pressure control solenoid valve. Refer to Exploded View.
