DTC C2329 Radar PWR.supply VOLT(Above 16 volts)
 
 
cautionBefore replacing the ECU, ensure that the power supply circuit, the ground circuit and the communication circuit are normal.
 
 
OPERATION
BSW-ECU (slave) power supply is provided from the battery via ETACS-ECU.
 
 
CHECK CONDITION
Ignition switch is in the ON position.
 
 
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND JUDGMENT CRITERIA
When system voltage remains 16 volts or more, the BSW-ECU (slave) will set DTC C2329.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Battery failure
  • The charging system may be defective
  • The BSW-ECU (slave) may be defective
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Check the charging system.
Refer to GROUP 16 - On-vehicle Service - Regulated Voltage Test .
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Repair or replace the charging system component(s).
 
STEP 2. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Check again if the DTC is set in the BSW-ECU (slave).

cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-III), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-III).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-III). Refer to "How to connect Scan Tool (M.U.T.-III) ."
(2) Erase the DTC.
(3) Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
(4) Check if the DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the BSW-ECU (slave).
Intermittent malfunction is suspected (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
