DTC C2325 Radar horizontal misalignment (L)
DTC C2326 Radar horizontal misalignment (R)

cautionBefore replacing the ECU, ensure that the power supply circuit, the ground circuit and the communication circuit are normal.

OPERATION
The BSW-ECU (master) incorporates a radar, and compensates its deviation automatically during driving.

CHECK CONDITION
When all of the conditions below are satisfied:
  • Ignition switch is in the ON position.
  • BSW-ECU (master) system voltage is at 9 to 16 volts.

DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND JUDGMENT CRITERIA
  • When the horizontal axis of the radar deviates by 5° or more clockwise, the BSW-ECU (master) sets DTC C2325.
  • When the horizontal axis of the radar deviates by 5° or more anticlockwise, the BSW-ECU (master) sets DTC C2326.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Improper vehicle attitude due to heavy load, improper wheel alignment, or tire puncture
  • Improperly installed BSW-ECU (master)
  • The BSW-ECU (master) may be defective

DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Check the vehicle attitude.
Check load in luggage compartment, tire inflation pressure, or wheel alignment.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Correct if necessary.

STEP 2. Check whether the BSW-ECU (master) is installed in right angle.
Refer to .
OK: -3° - +3°
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Repair or replace the BSW-ECU (master) bracket.

STEP 3. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Check again if the DTC is set in the BSW-ECU (master).
(1)
cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-III), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-III).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-III). Refer to "How to connect Scan Tool (M.U.T.-III) ."
(2) Erase the DTC.
(3) Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
