DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY INSPECTION
 
 
Check the door lock actuator operation in the following procedures:
1. Open a door that is supposed to be checked.
2. Remove a door trim assembly (Refer to GROUP 52A - Door Trim ).
3. Use a screwdriver or the like to slide the door latch claw from unlatch to full-latch position (Set the door latch from door-open to door-closed condition).

Full-latchLock
  • Connect terminal 1 to negative battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal 2 to positive battery terminal.
Knob moves from "Lock" to "Unlock" position.
Full-latchUnlock
  • Connect terminal 1 to positive battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal 2 to negative battery terminal.
Knob moves from "Unlock" to "Lock" position.

  • Connect terminal 4 to negative battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal 3 to positive battery terminal.
Knob moves from "Lock" to "Unlock" position.

  • Connect terminal 4 to positive battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal 3 to negative battery terminal.
Knob moves from "Unlock" to "Lock" position.
