DTC SET CONDITIONS
This code is set when one of the following conditions is met.
  • Although the electric heater (electric heater-ECU) is deactivated, overcurrent (power transistor energizing current of 1 ampere or more is detected at least three times) judged by the electric heater (electric heater-ECU) is detected.
  • When overheat abnormality (the power transistor temperature signal of 110 °C (230 °F) or more occurs twice or more per hour) judged by the electric heater (electric heater-ECU) is detected.
  • When overheat abnormality (the circuit board temperature sensor signal of 125 °C (257 °F) or more occurs twice or more per hour) judged by the electric heater (electric heater-ECU) is detected.
  • The electric heater (electric heater-ECU) informs the system that a sensor inside the heater has failed at least twice per hour.

DIAGNOSIS
1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the DTC is set again.
