DTC C2325 Radar horizontal misalignment (L)
DTC C2326 Radar horizontal misalignment (R)

cautionBefore replacing the ECU, ensure that the power supply circuit, the ground circuit and the communication circuit are normal.

OPERATION
The BSW-ECU (slave) incorporates a radar, and compensates its deviation automatically during driving.

CHECK CONDITION
When all of the conditions below are satisfied:
  • Electric motor switch is in the ON position.
  • BSW-ECU (slave) system voltage is at 9-16 volts.

DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND TROUBLE JUDGMENT
  • When the horizontal axis of the radar deviates by 5 deg or more clockwise, the BSW-ECU (slave) sets DTC C2325.
  • When the horizontal axis of the radar deviates by 5 deg or more anticlockwise, the BSW-ECU (slave) sets DTC C2326.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Improper vehicle attitude due to heavy load, improper wheel alignment, or tire puncture
  • Improperly installed BSW-ECU (slave)
  • Malfunction of the BSW-ECU (slave)

DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Check the vehicle attitude.
Check load in luggage compartment, tire inflation pressure, or wheel alignment.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Correct if necessary.

STEP 2. Check whether the BSW-ECU (slave) is installed in right angle.
Refer to .
OK: -3 deg to +3 deg
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Repair or replace the BSW-ECU (slave) bracket.

STEP 3. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), read the BSW-ECU (slave) DTC again.
Check again if the DTC is set in the BSW-ECU (slave).
(1)
cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn the electric motor switch to the "OFF" position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "How to connect the Scan Tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) ."
(2) Erase the DTC.
(3) Turn the electric motor switch from the OFF position to the ON position.
(4) Drive the vehicle for at least 10 minutes. Then check if the DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the BSW-ECU (slave).
This diagnosis is complete.
