FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU SENSOR CALIBRATION

1. Place a calibration plate.
(1)
Fabricate two calibration plate according to dimensions shown in illustration.
(2)
Place them as shown.
(3) Place the calibration plate and the vehicle as shown.
Calibration plate position
  • Distance between the sensor on the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU and the calibration plate: 2500 ± 10 mm (98.4 ± 0.4 in)
[Distance between the center of the front axle and the calibration plate: 1737 mm (68.4 in)]
  • Dimension (height) between the floor and the center of the calibration plate: 1300 ± 10 mm (51.2 ± 0.4 in)
2. Turn the electric motor switch "OFF" position.
3. Connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to the data link connector (For how to connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), refer to Diagnosis function ).
4. Press the electric motor switch to turn on the power supply mode. (Do not start the engine.)
5. Operate the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) as below:
(1) Select "FCM/LDW/AHB" on the system selection screen.
(2) Select "Special function".
(3) Select "Learning".
(4) Select "Camera calibration", and then execute the calibration.
noteThe indicator on the display should illuminate according to the calibration status as shown in the table.

C1754It will be set when you cannot calibrate.Follow the diagnostic trouble code, which indicates why the calibration has failed.
C2279Displayed when the calibration fails due to an internal error in the ECU.Replace the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU (Refer to ).
C2280Displayed when the system detects an implausible contrast ratio of "black and white" portions during the calibration.Check the calibration plate, FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU and the vehicle for items below, and correct it if necessary. Then repeat the calibration process.
  • The calibration plate is installed properly.
  • The calibration plate is contaminated or damaged.
  • The FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU is installed correctly.
  • The vehicle is parked correctly (the vehicle is not parallel to the calibration plate).
If you cannot calibrate the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU, replace it (Refer to ).
C2281Displayed when the system cannot recognize the calibration plate during the calibration.
C2282Displayed when the system recognizes two calibration plates or more during the calibration.
C2283Displayed when the system detects an implausible contrast ratio of "white" portions during the calibration.
C2284Displayed when the calibration plate is slid from the specified position during the calibration.
C2285Displayed when the calibration plate is not positioned as specified.
C2286The input target position value for service calibration was abnormity.
C2287The input distance between target to center for service calibration was abnormity.
C2288FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU detected possibility the target overlaps, when calibration is in progress.
