cautionWhenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
 
 
DTC SET CONDITIONS
The PHEV-ECU sets a DTC when there is a problem described below in the discharge current of the external power supply equipment.
  • Reception current problem DTC P1B74
  • The upper limit value is exceeded. DTC P1B76
 
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSES
  • Malfunction of the external power supply equipment
  • Malfunction of the PHEV-ECU.
 
 
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. External power supply equipment check
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Repair or replace the external power supply equipment. Then go to Step 3.
 
STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the PHEV-ECU (Refer to ). Then go to Step 3.
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
 
STEP 3. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
The procedure is complete.
