DTC C2007: Power supply high voltage (VP)
 
 
cautionWhenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
 
 
DTC SET CONDITIONS
The PHEV-ECU sets DTC C2007 when the power supply voltage to the brake booster vacuum sensor exceeds a certain value.
 
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSES
  • The designation of the 12 volts starter battery is incorrect.
  • The 12 volts starter battery is flat.
  • Loose 12 volts starter battery terminal.
  • Malfunction of the on board charger/DC-DC converter.
  • Damaged harness or connector.
  • Malfunction of the PHEV-ECU.
 
 
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. 12 volts starter battery check.
Check the following items.
(1) Is the installed 12 volts starter battery a compatible product?
12 volts starter battery type: S46B24L(S)
(2) Is the connection terminal of the 12 volts starter battery loose?
(3) Is the 12 volts starter battery dead?
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Correct defective items. Also charge it if the 12 volts starter battery is dead (Refer to GROUP 54A - 12 Volts Starter Battery, On-vehicle Service, Charging ). Then go to Step 3.
 
STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the other DTC is set.
Check whether the PHEV-ECU sets the DTC which is related to the on board charger (OBC)/DC-DC converter.
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot for the relevant DTC.
Go to Step 3.
 
STEP 3. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the DTC is set again.
Recheck the DTC.
(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
(3) Turn on the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
(4) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the PHEV-ECU (Refer to ).
The procedure is complete.
