STEP 4. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), Check whether the DTC is set again.
Check again if DTC No.B1E1D is set in the ETACS-ECU.(1) caution | To prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). |
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "How to connect Scan Tool (M.U.T.-IIISE)

."
(2) Erase the DTC.
(3) Turn on the corresponding light.
(4) Check if DTC No.B1E1D is set.
Is the DTC set?
Go to Step 5
.
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to use Troubleshooting/inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction
).
STEP 5. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), Check whether the DTC is set again.
Check again if DTC No.B1E1D is set in the ETACS-ECU.(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Disconnect connector (a).- Front dome light body
- Rear dome light body
- Luggage compartment light body
- Sun visor
(3) Turn on the corresponding light.
(4) Check if DTC No.B1E1D is set.
(5) Repeat steps (1) to (4) for parts (b) to (d) to determine a fault cause.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the ETACS-ECU.
Replace a defective bulb (the front dome light body, the rear dome light body, the luggage compartment light body or the sun visor).
