DTC U1195 Coding not completed
 
 
caution
  • If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect DTC may be set. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines.
  • Whenever the ECU is replaced, ensure that the communication circuit is normal.
 
 
OPERATION
FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU receives the vehicle information stored in ETACS-ECU via CAN bus lines.
 
 
DTC SET CONDITION
This DTC is set when the abnormality below is detected:
  • Coding has not been performed.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Malfunction of the CAN bus line
  • Coding not implemented
  • Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU
  • Malfunction of the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) CAN bus diagnostics.
(1)
cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "How to connect the Scan Tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) ."
(2) Turn on the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
(3) Diagnose the CAN bus line.
(4) Turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2
Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C - Troubleshooting ).
 
STEP 2. Scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) other system DTC.
Check the ETACS-ECU DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot the relevant DTC (Refer to GROUP 54A - Troubleshooting ).
Go to Step 3
 
STEP 3. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Check again if the DTC is set in the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU.
(1) Turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
(2) Turn on the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
(3) Turn on the power supply mode of the electric motor switch and hold it for five seconds.
(4) Turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
(5) Turn on the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
(6) Check if DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU (Refer to ).
This diagnosis is complete.
