DTC C2292 Auto calibration out of range
 
 
caution
  • Whenever the ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
 
 
OPERATION
The FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU adjusts the sensor axis automatically during driving.
 
 
DTC SET CONDITION
This DTC is set when any of the following conditions is detected:
  • A sensor axis compensation reaches its limit due to too heavy load, improper wheel alignment or tire punctuation.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Unfavorable vehicle condition, such as too heavy load, improper wheel alignment or tire punctuation
  • Improperly installed FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU
  • Malfunction of the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Check the vehicle for proper condition.
Check whether the vehicle attitude is affected. (Heavy load, tire inflation pressure, or wheel alignment)
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2
Rectify the vehicle condition.
 
STEP 2. Check whether the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU is installed properly.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3
Install the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU properly.
 
STEP 3. Check whether the DTC is set again.
(1)
cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-III), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-III).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-III). Refer to "How to connect the Scan Tool (M.U.T.-III) ."
(2) Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
(3) Erase the DTC.
(4) Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" (OFF) position to "ON" position.
(5) Drive the vehicle for approx. ten minutes.
(6) Check if DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Calibrate the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU sensor (Refer to ).
This diagnosis is complete
