DTC B1194 HVAC Blower Motor Mismatch
 
 
 
 
DTC SET CONDITION
DTC No. B1194 will be set when there is abnormality in the coding data sent from the ETACS-ECU.
 
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Malfunction of CAN bus line
  • ETACS coding data abnormality
  • Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU
  • Malfunction of the A/C controller assembly (A/C-ECU)
 
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. M.U.T.-IIISE CAN bus diagnostics Use the M.U.T.-IIISE to diagnose the CAN bus lines.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, Troubleshooting ).
 
STEP 2. ETACS-ECU coding data check
Using the M.U.T.-IIISE, check if there is the A/C Fan Control Type abnormality to the coding data stored in the ETACS-ECU.
OK: "PWM" is displayed.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Replace the ETACS-ECU.
 
STEP 3. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Recheck if the DTC is set.
(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Ignition switch: "LOCK" (OFF) to "ON"
(3) Check if the DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the A/C controller assembly (A/C-ECU).
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
