cautionBefore replacing the ECU, ensure that the power supply circuit, the ground circuit and the communication circuit are normal.
 
 
OPERATION
The BSW-ECU (master) incorporates a radar, and compensates its deviation automatically during driving.
 
 
CHECK CONDITION
When all of the conditions below are satisfied:
  • Ignition switch is in the "ON" position.
  • BSW-ECU (master) system voltage is at 9 - 16 volts.
 
 
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND TROUBLE JUDGMENT
  • When the horizontal axis of the radar deviates by 5 deg or more clockwise, the BSW-ECU (master) sets DTC C2325.
  • When the horizontal axis of the radar deviates by 5 deg or more anticlockwise, the BSW-ECU (master) sets DTC C2326.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Improper vehicle attitude due to heavy load, improper wheel alignment, or tire puncture
  • Improperly installed BSW-ECU (master)
  • Malfunction of the BSW-ECU (master)
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
1. Check load in luggage compartment, tire inflation pressure, or wheel alignment.
2. Check whether the BSW-ECU (master) is installed in right angle (Refer to ).
3. Check whether the DTC is set again, after driving the vehicle for at least 10 minutes.
