FORCED POWER SUPPLY OUTPUT PROCEDURE

With KOS, the power supply cannot be turned ON until the certification communication with keyless operation key is complete. However, using the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), the power can be forced ON even when the certification communication with keyless operation key is not completed. As a result, the error in certification with keyless operation key can be distinguished from the malfunction in power supply. In addition, the process allows the CAN bus diagnostic as well as the reading of DTC, belonging to systems other than KOS, to be performed.
