OPERATION
The EPS-ECU receives IG1 signal and it is used as a switch that activates/deactivates the EPS-ECU.
FUNCTION
The motor current is controlled according to the information on motor and resolver, and the information on CAN bus.

Judgment Criterion
The microcomputer determines that there is an internal problem.
Fail Safe, Back Up Function
The EPS-ECU stops the motor control and illuminates the electric power steering warning light, then sets the DTC C1550.

DIAGNOSIS
Erase the DTC.
Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" (OFF) to "ON" (Engine running).
