| caution | - Before performing the calibration, check if the steering wheel sensor-related DTC is set in ASC-ECU.
- When the DTC other than C121A is set, carry out inspection according to each troubleshooting procedure.

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface with tire and steering wheel positioned in a straight ahead direction.
2. | caution | Before connecting or disconnecting the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position. |
Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position. Then connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to the data link connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
4. Select "Steering angle sensor."
5. Select "Special function."
6. Select "SAS Calibration."
If replaced the steering wheel sensor (neutral point not learned) with a new one, go to Step 8.
| note | The learning status of steering wheel sensor neutral point can be confirmed by scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) data list "Item No. 23 Steering wheel sensor calibration state". |
7. Select "SAS Initialization."
8. Select "SAS Calibration."
9. Exit the "Steering angle sensor" menu screen and select "ABS/ASC/ASTC/WSS."
10. Select "Special function."
11. Select "Sensor calibration."
12. Select "Steering angle sensor calibration."
13. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
14. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
15. Check whether the DTC is set.
16. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position. Then disconnect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to the data link connector.
