DTC C1752 Radar temperature out of range
 
 
caution
  • Whenever the ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
 
 
OPERATION
The FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU monitors temperature at the sensor.
 
 
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND TROUBLE JUDGMENT
This DTC is set when the abnormality below is detected:
  • The temperature which the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU detects at the sensor is below -40°C (40°F) or over 100°C (212°F).
note
  • The system does not monitor any malfunction when the FCM and the LDW is deactivated.
  • The area in the proximity of the sensor is too hot (e.g; parked under blazing sun).
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • The FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU remains protected.
  • Malfunction of the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), read the DTC again.
Check again if the DTC is set in the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU.

cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "How to connect the Scan Tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) ."
(2) Turn the ignition switch "LOCK" (OFF) indoors, and then wait until the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU reaches normal operating temperature.
noteYou can observe the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU temperature on scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) data list item No. 2 (Refer to ).
(3) Erase the DTC.
(4) Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" (OFF) position to "ON" position.
(5) Check if DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU (Refer to ).
A component protection has been triggered. This is not a malfunction.
