Always replace the front seat cushion assembly together with the occupant classification-ECU.
When replacing the front seat cushion assembly, be careful not to apply static electricity to it.
The front seat cushion assembly must not be damped with any liquid or steam.

DISASSEMBLY SERVICE POINT

<<A>> FRONT SEAT HEADREST GUIDE REMOVAL

Remove the headrest guides while pushing the on both sides inward.

ASSEMBLY SERVICE POINT

>>A<< FRONT SEAT SIDE-AIRBAG MODULE INSTALLATION

1. Temporarily tighten side-airbag module mounting nuts.

2. First tighten the lower mounting nut to the specified torque, and then tighten the upper mounting nut to the specified torque.

Tightening torque: 6.0 ± 2.0 N·m (53 ± 17 in-lb)
