STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), diagnose the CAN bus line
STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the other system DTC.
STEP 3. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the other system DTC.
STEP 4. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Recheck if the DTC is set in the KOS&OSS-ECU.(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from "OFF" to "ON."
(3) Check if the DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the combination meter (Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination Meter - Combination Meter ). A poor connection, open circuit or other intermittent malfunction is present in the CAN bus lines between the combination meter and the KOS&OSS-ECU (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
STEP 5. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Recheck if the DTC is set.(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from "OFF" to "ON."
(3) Check if the DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace KOS&OSS-ECU and register the ID codes (Refer to ). A poor connection, open circuit or other intermittent malfunction is present in the CAN bus lines between the combination meter and the KOS&OSS-ECU (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
