When replacing the ECU, always check that the communication circuit is normal.
COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
KOS&OSS-ECU is communicating with scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) via CAN. Therefore, communication error of KOS&OSS-ECU is suspected.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Malfunction of the power supply and the ground of KOS&OSS-ECU
Malfunction of CAN bus line
DIAGNOSIS
1.
Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), diagnose the CAN bus line.
2.
Check the power supply circuit and the ground circuit to KOS&OSS-ECU.
3.
Retest the system.
