DTC C1809: ACC/FCM Temporary not Available
 
 
cautionWhen the ACC/FCM-ECU is replaced, calibrate the radar (refer to ).
 
 
OPERATION
The ACC/FCM-ECU will disable the ACC system temporarily by the protection control.
 
 
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE SET CONDITION
Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is "ON" position.
Judgment Criterion
  • External factors such as external noises are detected, which hinder the ACC/FCM radar performance.
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSE
  • Influences by external factors such as external noises.
  • Malfunction of ACC/FCM-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the DTC.

cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "How to connect the Scan Tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) ."
(2) Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
(3) Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the DTC.
(4) Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Is DTC C1751 set?
Check DTC C1751: ECU failure (Refer to ).
Go to Step 2.
 
STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the DTC is set again.
Is DTC C1809 set?
Replace the ACC/FCM-ECU (Refer to ).
This diagnosis is complete. The system has deactivated the ACC temporarily for safety reason. This is not a malfunction.
