DTC C1752: Radar Temperature Out of Range

cautionWhen the ACC/FCM-ECU is replaced, calibrate the radar (refer to ).

OPERATION
The ACC/FCM-ECU monitors temperature at the radar.

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE SET CONDITION
Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is "ON" position.
Judgment Criterion
  • The temperature which the ACC/FCM-ECU detects at the radar is below -40°C (-40°F) or over 105°C (221°F).

PROBABLE CAUSES
  • The ACC/FCM-ECU remains protected.
  • Severe driving condition (e.g. driving under high load)
  • Malfunction of ACC/FCM-ECU

DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the radar temperature (high or low) and the DTC is set again.
(1)
cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "How to connect the Scan Tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) ."
(2) Turn the ignition switch to "LOCK" (OFF) position and then wait for a while so that the radar at the ACC/FCM-ECU remains at appropriate temperature.
noteThe radar temperature can be checked by "Item No.2: ECU temperature" in the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) data list.
(3) Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" (OFF) position to "ON" position.
(4) Press the ACC ON/OFF switch to turn the ACC system to ON.
(5) On completion, check that the DTC is set again.
Is DTC C1752 set?
Replace the ACC/FCM-ECU (Refer to ).
This diagnosis is complete (Protection is deactivated).
