DTC P1797: G Sensor/Brake Pressure Sensor Malfunction
 
 
 
 
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
TCM determines if the CAN signals it receives from the ASC-ECU are normal.
 
 
JUDGMENT CRITERIA
If the following conditions are met after it is detected that the power supply voltage is 9 V or more, the engine speed is 450 r/min or more, and the vehicle speed was 5 km/h or more.
  • The brake fluid pressure sensor error signal reception continues for 5 seconds.
  • The front/rear G sensor error signal reception continues for 5 seconds.
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSES
  • Malfunction of ASC-ECU
  • Malfunction of TCM
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnostic trouble code
Check if ASC-related diagnostic trouble code is stored.
Is the ASC-related diagnostic trouble code stored?
Carry out the appropriate troubleshooting.
Go to Step 2.
 
STEP 2. Diagnostic trouble code recheck
Is the diagnostic trouble code stored?
Replace the TCM.
