SIDE RADAR ALIGNMENT COMPLETION CONDITION
When any of the following conditions is met, the side radar alignment is complete.
- The specified number of objects (guardrail, tree, etc.) on the roadside is detected during driving.
- Vehicle is driven at 50 km/h (31 mph) or more while YAW is 1 °/s or less for a total of 5 minutes or more.
1.SELECT SPECIAL FUNCTION ITEM
2.START SIDE RADAR ALIGNMENT
3.PERFORM SIDE RADAR ALIGNMENT
4.CONFIRMATION OF UNDETECTED RADAR
- Confirm undetected radar and repair the defective part.
- Perform the side radar alignment again.

5.CHECK THE CONNECTORS OF SIDE RADAR LH/RH
- Confirm the description on M.U.T.-III SE, check the concerned radar installing condition (installed location, tightening torque, bend of bracket etc.) and repair the defective part.
- Perform the side radar alignment again.
: WORK END.
6.CHECK DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULTS OF SIDE RADAR
- Perform "Read All DTCs".
- Check if the DTC is detected on the Diagnostic Trouble Code results of following.
- “Side radar (Rear left)”: Refer to DTC IndexDTC Index.
- “Side radar (Rear right)”: Refer to DTC IndexDTC Index.
- Perform trouble diagnosis for the detected DTC, and repair or replace the identified malfunctioning parts.
- Turn the electric motor switch OFF to ON, and perform the side radar alignment again.
