C2580 55 Distance sensor
(Distance sensor)
Diagnosis condition When electric motor switch is ON
Signal (terminal) ―
Threshold Configuration of the distance sensor is incomplete
Diagnosis delay time 5 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Configuration of the distance sensor is not completed
  • Distance sensor
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
The following systems are canceled.
  • Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode
  • Conventional (fixed speed) cruise control mode
  • Steering wheel assistance function
  • FCM
  • PFCW
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: ON).
  2. Perform “Read All DTCs” with M.U.T.-III SE.
  3. Check if the “C2580-55” is detected as the current malfunction on the Diagnostic Trouble Code results of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C2580-55” detected as the current malfunction?
