Diagnosis Procedure
1.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Erase Diagnostic Trouble Code result for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.
  2. Turn the electric motor switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  3. Turn the electric motor switch ON.
  4. Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.
Is DTC “U2165-87” detected?

INSPECTION END
 
2.CHECK SONAR CONTROL UNIT SYSTEM (1)
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Erase Diagnostic Trouble Code result for “SONAR”.
  2. Turn the electric motor switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  3. Turn the electric motor switch ON.
  4. Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code for “SONAR”.
Is DTC detected?
Check the DTC. Refer to DTC IndexDTC Index.

3.CHECK SONAR CONTROL UNIT SYSTEM (2)
  1. Turn the electric motor switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect sonar control unit harness connector.
  3. Check sonar control unit harness connector terminals (CAN communication line and chassis communication line) or damage or loose connection.
Is the inspection result normal?

Repair / replace harness, connector, or terminal. .
 
4.ERASE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Connect sonar control unit harness connector.
  2. Erase Diagnostic Trouble Code result for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.
  3. Turn the electric motor switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.
