MI-PILOT Assist Steering Switch
FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM
- MI-PILOT Assist steering switch allows the ON/OFF of the Adaptive Cruise Control (MI-PILOT Assist) and the settings of a vehicle speed and distance between vehicles.
- MI-PILOT Assist steering switch signal is transmitted to PHEV-ECU. The PHEV-ECU sends a signal to the ADAS control unit 2 via CAN communication.
INDIVIDUAL FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM
- MI-PILOT Assist steering switch detects a switch operation by the driver.
INDIVIDUAL OPERATION
- The MI-PILOT Assist steering switch is composed of a combination of a normal open switch and a resistor.
- When a switch is pressed, the voltage from the PHEV-ECU changes according to the resistance value set for each switch, and the PHEV-ECU reads which switch is being operated.
