Work Procedure
1.REPLACE AV CONTROL UNIT
Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

2.PERFORM PROGRAMMING
M.U.T.-III SE
Perform AV control unit programming according to the procedure of “Programming” in M.U.T.-III SE User's Manual. Refer to M.U.T.-III SE User's Manual.
cautionDuring programming, maintain the following conditions:
  • Electric motor switch: ON
  • Electric load: OFF
  • Brake pedal: Not depressed
  • 12V battery voltage: 12 – 13.5 V (Check the value displayed on the M.U.T.-III SE screen.)

3.CONFIGURATION (AV CONTROL UNIT)
M.U.T.-III SE Configuration
Perform configuration. Refer to Work Procedure.

4.WRITE VIN DATA (AV CONTROL UNIT)
M.U.T.-III SE Special Function
Perform “WRITE VIN (MANUAL INPUT)” to write VIN data.

5.CHECK NETWORK INITIAL SETTINGS
M.U.T.-III SE Special Function
1. 1. Confirm 90 or more seconds passed after turning electric motor switch ON, then select “Network initial settings” of “IVC”.
2. 2. Check the “Radio wave condition”. If it is normal, go to the next step.If the condition is abnormal or cannot be detected, move the vehicle to a place where the radio wave environment is good. Then start from Step 1 again.
3. 3. Select “Network initial settings” of “MULTI AV”.
4. 4. Check that “Completed” is displayed on the “Network initial setting state” field.
noteWhen the received radio wave is weak, “Completed” is not displayed within 15 minutes and an error may occurs. If the error occurs, move the vehicle to a place where the radio wave environment is good. Then start from Step 1 again.
