POSSIBLE CAUSE
CAN communication system (brake control unit)
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
  • The screen does not disappear even when the vehicle speed 10 km/h (6.2 MPH) or more.
  • MOD function does not operate.
 
 
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Turn the electric motor switch ON.
  2. Turn the electric motor switch OFF and wait for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Turn the electric motor switch ON and wait at least 1 minute or more.
  4. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Code" mode of “Multi Around Monitor” using M.U.T.-III SE.
  5. Check DTC.
Is DTC “U2148–87” detected?
Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure.
