Diagnosis conditionWhen electric motor switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Engine coolant temperature signal
ThresholdEngine coolant temperature signal is not input from ECM
Diagnosis delay time60 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Engine coolant temperature sensor
  • ECM
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
  • When reception time of an abnormal signal is 60 seconds or less, the last value received.
  • When reception time of an abnormal signal is more than 60 seconds, reset to zero.
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Turn electric motor switch ON and wait for 60 seconds or more.
  2. Check "Diagnostic Trouble Code" of “METER/M&A.”
Is DTC B2268-87 detected?
