[ACTUATOR STUCK OPEN]Diagnosis conditionWhen electric motor switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)CPU monitors the status at the contact and excitation coil circuits of the ECM relay inside it
ThresholdThe ECM relay OFF is detected
Diagnosis delay time1 second or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Fusible link
  • Fuse
  • Harness or connectors (Battery power supply circuit is open or shorted to ground)
  • IPDM E/R

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Electric motor switch is ON.
  2. Check "Diagnostic Trouble Code" of “IPDM E/R” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is DTC detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
-1 To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
-2 Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
