Hood Switch
COMPONENT FUNCTION WITHIN SYSTEM
Hood switch detects that hood is open, and then transmits hood switch signal to IPDM E/R.
IPDM E/R transmits hood switch signal to BCM via CAN communication.
If any door or hood is opened without using Intelligent key, vehicle security system switches to the ALARM phase. Refer to
