DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION

Check CAN communication. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart

Is DTC “B2047-87” displayed?

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident

2.CHECK DTC PRIORITY OF ELECTRIC SHIFT CONTROL MODULE

Select “Diagnostic Trouble Code” mode of “SHIFT” using scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE).

Is the DTC detected?

Perform the trouble diagnosis related to the detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index

3.CHECK DTC PRIORITY OF KEYLESS OPERATION KEY UNIT

Select “Diagnostic Trouble Code” mode of “HANDS FREE MODULE” using scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE).
If DTC B2042–4A is displayed with two or more DTCs are detected, refer to DTC inspection priority chart, and determine trouble diagnosis.

Is applicable DTC detected?

Perform the trouble diagnosis related to the detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index

4.PERFORM INITIALIZATION

Perform initialization of keyless operation key unit and registration of all keyless operation keys using scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE).
For initialization and registration procedures, refer to scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE) immobilizer mode and follow the on-screen instructions.
Start the engine.

Dose the engine start?

INSPECTION END

Replace electric shift control module. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
