Diagnosis condition Electric motor switch ON
Signal (terminal)Back door opener switch signal (BCM connector terminal: 98)
ThresholdWhen the BCM detects back door opener switch circuit is short to ground or open
Diagnosis delay time1 second or less
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Back door opener switch
  • Harness or connectors (back door opener switch circuit is short to ground or open)
  • BCM

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE)
  1. Turn the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON.
  2. Check “Diagnostic Trouble Code” mode of “BCM” using scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE).
Is DTC detected?
