System Description

SYSTEM DIAGRAM

Component		Function
Massage switch		Refer to Massage Switch.
Lumbar support (forward / backward) motor		Refer to Lumbar Support (Forward / Backward) Motor.
Lumbar support (upward / downward) motor		Refer to Lumbar Support (Upward / Downward) Motor.
Driver seat control unit		Refer to Driver Seat Control Unit.
Passenger seat control unit		Refer to Passenger Seat Control Unit.
BCM		BCM transmits the following signal to seat control unit via CAN communication. Door switch signal Vehicle status signal
AV control unit		AV control unit transmits the massage setting signal to seat control unit via CAN communication.

DESCRIPTION

When the massage function is turned ON, the seatback support is activated to massage the passengers.
The massage function can be turned ON/OFF from the massage switch installed to the seat cushion finisher and the navigation display.
Set the massage pattern (Lumbar / Relaxing / Refresh), intensity, and speed from the navigation display.

note	If the driver door is opened while the engine is running, the driver side massage function is stopped. If the passenger door is opened, the passenger side massage function is stopped.
