Sliding motor (driver side)Sliding motor
  • Sliding motor is activated with driver seat control unit.
  • Slides the seat forward/backward by changing the rotation direction of sliding motor.
Sliding sensor
  • Sliding sensor is integrated in sliding motor.
  • The pulse signal is input to driver seat control unit when sliding is performed.
  • Driver seat control unit counts the pulse and calculates the sliding amount of the seat.
BCMRecognizes the following status and transmits it to driver seat control unit via CAN communication.
  • Electric motor switch ON signal
  • Key ID signal
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) transmits the vehicle speed signal to driver seat control unit via CAN communication.

DESCRIPTION
  • This function allows the driver side seat to return from the exiting position to the position before the exiting function is operated when the electric motor switch is operated from OFF to ON when the driver enters the vehicle.
  • If the electric motor switch is operated with any Keyless operation key other than that used before the exiting function is operated, the driver side seat will return to the driver position registered for that Keyless operation key.

  • This function is set to ON before delivery (initial setting).

Operation Condition
  1. Electric motor switch ON.
  2. Driver seat will return from the exiting position to entry position.
 
 
Operation Procedure
Satisfy all of the following items. The entry assist function is not performed if these items are not satisfied.
